If you connect timeghost with Planner, you can automate work processes between the two platforms and save yourself administrative effort in the long term.

We have provided the following template(s) especially for Planner:

Creates a bucket of the same name in a selected plan in Planner when you add a new project in timeghost

Adds a new task of the same name in a selected project in timeghost when a task is created in a particular plan in Planner


As part of these short instructions, you will learn step by step how you can easily set up a flow that ensures that every time a task is created in a particular Planner plan, a corresponding task with the same name is also created in timeghost within the project you choose for it.


You do this as follows:

First, log into both timeghost and Planner.

In timeghost go to Automation via the navigation menu.

Select Planner from the Templates.

Click Connect and then select Connect to Tasks from the context menu.

On the page that opens in a new tab, select Continue.

Use the X to remove the pre-entered value from the Group-ID selection field and instead add [your Plan] using the dropdown.

Also, again via X, remove the pre-entered value from the Plan-ID selection field and add [your Plan] from Planner using the dropdown.

Use the X to remove the pre-entered value from the Workspace selection field and add [your Workspace] from Planner using the dropdown.

Use the X to remove the pre-entered value from the Client selection field and instead use the dropdown to add [the Client] to whom the tasks automatically created in timeghost should be assigned in the future.

Use the X to remove the pre-entered value from the Workspace selection field and instead use the dropdown to add the Project to which the tasks automatically created in timeghost should be assigned in the future.

Finally, click Save at the bottom of the page.

You will then be shown that your flow is complete. 

You can check it for correctness via Flow Check at the top right edge of the page.
