If the values in the time account tab are not currently displayed correctly, you can use the evaluations to track overtime and under-time using a reliable workflow. This article shows you step by step how to create your own views – for yourself, for your team (as a supervisor/admin) and how to hide the time account tab for users.

1) Create a personal view – “My Time Account”

________________________________________________________________________________

1

Go to Dashboard → Working hours.

2

For admins + supervisors: Select your own name in the user filter.

3

Set the time period:

  • Start date: Start of your working time recording (e.g., 04/01/2025)

  • End date: Today
→ Activate the checkbox to the right of the end date to dynamically apply “Today.”

4

The overview now shows you your overtime/under-time.*

5

Click the Save icon in the upper right corner and name the view, e.g., “My Time Account”.

6

The view you have created will now be pinned as a favorite at the top of the ‘Working hours’ tab and can be opened from there at any time.

2) Team or company view – “Time account – all employees” (Supervisors + Admins)

________________________________________________________________________________

For supervisors and admins: This gives you an overview of the time accounts of all employees for whom you have authorization.

1

Go to Dashboard → Working hours.

2

Select User filterAll

3

Set the time period:

  • Start date: Earliest start date for your employees' time tracking (e.g., 11/01/2024)

  • End date: Today
→ Activate the checkbox to the right of the end date to dynamically apply “Today.”

4

The overview now shows you the overtime/under-time of all (your) employees.*

5

Click on the Save icon in the top right corner and name the view, e.g., “Time account – all employees”.

6

The view you have created is now pinned as a favorite at the top of the “Working hours” tab and can be opened from there at any time.

3) Hide the time account tab for users (admins only)

________________________________________________________________________________

If the time account currently displays incorrect values, you can disable the tab for users to avoid misunderstandings.

1

Go to Setting in the workspace.

2

Scroll to the Time account section.

3

Set:

  • Can view their own time account: Administrator(s)
  • Supervisors can view the time accounts of their subordinates: Nein

4

Save changes

* Note on credits and deductions

________________________________________________________________________________

Credits and deductions are currently not taken into account in the individual views (via Working Hours). These continue to be correctly and comprehensibly documented exclusively in the original Time Account tab.

Since the time account tab can be hidden for non-admins, admins still have full access and can communicate the relevant values (e.g., credits, corrections, or deductions) to users upon request.
