As the administrator of a workspace, you can store an individual hourly rate for each project member of a specific project. The respective project manager also has this permission.
The hourly rate defined by you applies to all times that are booked by the respective project member as billable to the corresponding project and is thus interpreted as earnings of the respective project as well as of the employee.
If a general hourly rate, an individual hourly rate for the team member and/or a specific project hourly rate are stored in the workspace, they will be overwritten by the individual hourly rate for the project member.
Below you will learn in detail how to set the hourly rate for a project member of a specific project:
#01 Set individual hourly rate for a project member
First, go to Projects via the navigation on the left side.
Here you click the 3-dot menu to the right of the project whose project member hourly rate you want to define individually.
Select Edit from the context menu.
Under Project members you will find all users that have already been added to the project.
Click the 3-dot menu to the right of the project member whose hourly rate you want to define.
Select Edit again from the context menu.
In the newly opened window you are already in the hourly rate input field of the project member.
Enter the amount here that should apply across the board to all of the user's recorded time entries when he/she posts a billable time to this specific project (e.g. "150" or "172,55").
Finally, click Save Changes to save the settings you have made.
