Basically, it is possible in timeghost to create and post time entries for the future. This is the default setting stored in the workspace.

However, depending on the company, this may be not desired, which is why there is the option for admins of a workspace to deactivate this function. 


In this case, all users of the workspace can only post times backdated - the end time of a new time entry must therefore be before the current time in order to be able to successfully save the entry. Otherwise, a note will appear stating that it is not allowed to book times into the future.

To prevent the posting of times into the future for all members of the workspace or to enable it again, proceed as follows:

First, go to Settings via the navigation menu on the left.

You are now in the Details tab. 

In the Workspace subitem, click the Allow booking future times drop-down field and select No.

To save the changes you have made, click the Save Changes button at the bottom right.

#02 Enable time entries again in the future

In the Workspace subitem, click the Allow booking future times drop-down field and select Yes.
