Projects can be closed by an administrator of the workspace as well as their individual project manager(s).
New time entries can no longer be booked on closed projects, time entries already booked on them can no longer be edited, and projects and their tasks are no longer displayed via their selection in the timer. It is also necessary to explicitly filter for completed projects in the evaluations and the project list in order to display them.
All data of a closed project remains available, if necessary the project can be reopened at any time by an administrator of the workspace or a related project manager.
Below you will learn how exactly to do both:
#01 Complete a project
1 | First, go to Projects via the navigation menu and then click on the project you want to complete via the list.
|
2 | Now click the 3-dot menu in the upper right corner and select Complete project from the context menu. |
#02 Reopen a project
1 | First, go again via the navigation menu into Projects.
|
2 | Here you click the Filter icon to the right of the search box at the top, and then use the dropdown in the first column to select completed.
|
3 | Now open the projekt you want to reopen from the list.
|
4 | Finally, click the 3-dot menu in the upper right corner and select Reopen project from the context menu. |
